Getting help

Looking after yourself is very important if you’ve been sexually assaulted or abused , either recently or in the past. You may want to tell someone, but not know who to talk to — or how to tell them.

If a friend or family member has been assaulted you will want to help them, but may not be sure what to do.

It will help if you understand more about the places you can get help from and how the police, doctors and courts may be involved.

If you don't want to talk to the police you can report anonymously at Sexual Assault Report Anonymously
