Positive Self help

It is important to find positive and safe ways of dealing with uncomfortable feelings. Some ways might be:

  • Talking with someone
  • Writing poetry
  • Drawing
  • Creative activities
  • Spending time outdoors
  • Writing in a journal
  • Listening to music or watching a favourite movie
  • Playing an instrument
  • Joining a community group
  • Exercising
  • Spending time with people who make you feel good
  • Playing with animals.
